We discovered this gem on a hill above the banks of the Cèze. A largely unspoiled park (8000 m2) with old trees and plenty of tables, chairs and deckchairs is at your disposal. We are happy to invite you to taste our wines in our wine cellar with its beautiful vaulted ceiling and old well. A small wooden door leads into the inner courtyard, from where you can access the covered terrace via a stone staircase. A fantastic view rewards the little effort. Offers to our vacation guests:
You will be staying on the estate of a sculptor. You can take part in artistic activities on request. If there are several people (4 or more) interested, a sculpture course can be offered. For more information, please contact us directly. A barbecue is available for our guests both in the inner courtyard and in the park. The day after your arrival, we invite new arrivals to a welcome drink. On this occasion, we will offer you detailed tips on how to organize your vacation. You will also find a folder with extensive information material in both apartments. As we live on site, we are always there for you. Should health problems arise, which nobody hopes for, we will accompany you to the doctor if necessary. Since summer 2012, a state-certified masseuse has been living in the house next door, who has an extensive, serious massage offer. Our guests and we ourselves are delighted and enjoy being pampered by Chryslen! Even language problems are no obstacle; we speak English, German and French.

The surrounding area:
The quiet but central location of the house offers many possibilities for every taste. Tempting excursion destinations include: the historic towns of Uzes with its episcopal see (40 km), Nimes with the Pont du Gard (60 km) and Avignon with its papal palace, which also attracts young and old with its festival in July. Anduze with its potteries, the bamboo series and the numerous stalactite caves are an experience. The sea is also just 90 km away. In the early and late season, hiking enthusiasts will find their true pleasure. You can leave your car behind for a while. Beautiful hiking trails lead from the house into the charming surroundings of the Cévennes. We have numerous hiking plans ready for you, and we think there is something for everyone. In the fall, the roasting of chestnuts from our own forest crowns an eventful day.
Soccer World Cup: Our house offers ideal vacation conditions for both soccer fans and those who don’t like soccer. Our guest house is TV-free for ‘grouches’, but for the fans, the beach café on the Ceze (10 minutes) is equipped with a large screen and allows a dip in the cool water at half-time… or a beer or… There’s something for everyone. Have fun !
